An individual can sustain and grow a useful culture by reaffirmingand advancing a particular culture. For instance, in music, anindividual can opt to practice songs that remind listeners about therelevance of cultural activities in today’s changing world (Holm,Jarrick &amp Scott, 2015).

The government has various roles in building and sustaining arobust culture. For example, the government has a duty of buildingcultural heritage centers that teach various vocational aspects ofhumanities. The government also has an obligation of providingrelevant materials needed in teaching humanities in learninginstitutions. On the other hand, individuals can build and sustain arobust culture by preserving their cultural heritage and respectingthat of other communities (Ardissono,Kuflik &amp Petrelli, 2012).

The areas of humanities that should be promoted includephilosophy, history, law, linguistics, archaeology, and classicalliterature. In summary, culture and humanities are inseparable. Individuals,the government, and educational institutions have a significant rolein culture. Sustaining a culture requires a lot of effort.
