TheArt Brut Foundation art gallery in Laussane offers a refreshing andcalming view of art. It is a place where people get to showcase thebest talents that they have. Thelesson is basically edged on the onset of the Second World War andthe devastating effects that such a war had on the lives andwellbeing of people in general. The ideal pace to display the pieceof art would be at the Louvre Museum in France. The reason is becausethe centre receives a considerable number of visitors each year andit presents a good opportunity for people to have a view of andappreciate the work that went into coming up with the piece of art.

Criterion3: Unity

Theart gallery shows great unity in the pieces displayed. It shows theextent to which artists have gone to incorporate varying features intheir paintings to achieve some harmony in the final outcome, whichis quite important in sustaining the growth of art in general as wellas the inclusion of newer trends in art to make them more relevant tothe contemporary art (Collection of Art brut Foundation Lausanne,2016). One of the instances that shows an excellent use of thisstrategy is a painting made by Ata Okko and staged at the art centre.The image represents an imaginary creature that appears to have twoheads. It has a mixture of brown, dark green and light green colours.One of its faces is pink in colour. The creature is clearly quitescary.

Conclusion

Theart Brut Foundation, Lausanne is quite explicit in its representationof art. The pieces selected are a show of the great extent that theartists involved in the development of the pieces have had in thefinal pieces of art displayed (Collection of Art brut FoundationLausanne, 2016). I chose the three pieces of art owing to the factthat they act as sample of the many pieces found at the centre, andwould provide a good analysis of the art gallery. The pieces make mefeel happy to be an arts student.
