The present study examined the students’ intention to use the XXXC.The focus was on determine using t-test statistics weather was genderdifference in students’ intention to use the XXXC mobile App. Thiswas achieved by comparing the means of male students against means offemale students in relation to five which together point to thestudents’ intention to use the app for learning. The areas include:homework, quizzes, course content, lecturer notes, and handouts.

Hypothesis

Alternativehypothesis (H1): there is gender difference in students’intention to use the XXXC Mobile App forlearning: homework, quizzes, exams course content, lecture notes, andhandouts: (H1): μ1≠ μ2

Nullhypothesis (H0)There is no gender difference in students’ intention to usethe XXXC Mobile App forAssignments: homework, quizzes, exams, course content, lecture notes,and handouts. (H0): μ1= μ2

Methodology

Data was collected using survey questionnaires. This was achieved bydistributing survey questionnaires to 1204 students (602 to malestudents and 602 to female students). The A total of 1200 surveyquestionnaires were filled are returned. The survey questionnairecollected data on students’ intension to use the app.

Data Analysis

Datawas analyzed using excel. T-test statistics was used to analyze data

Results

Results (see table 1), P(0.860977)&gt0.05 suggest there is nosignificant gender difference when it comes to students’ intentionto use the XXXC app. The null hypothesis is not rejected sinceP&gt0.05suggesting that it is likely that no significant differentin gender with regard to the intention to use the C app.

Conclusion

This study confirms that t-test can be used to examine the differencein means between two groups.
