Proposalfor funding the building of a Church
Ourorganization was established in 2011 after many years of evangelismand hard work. Currently, the organization has four pastors andserves a population of about 25000. Therefore the need foraccommodating new members call for developing a church because mostchurches in our community are constructed using local materials henceare easily destroyed by the wind, floods and frequent conflictsbetween the Muslims and Christians.
Weare seeking funds to build and replace the actual existing structuresfor a stable, durable and representative church building. Theproposed project location request has been approved by the Bishop andwill be the administrative headquarters in the whole community.Currently, we are forced to conduct the church outside on the bareground and these have shown many challenges as the worshippers cannotconcentrate. Similarly, during the rainy season the church servicecannot go on when it is raining.
Statementproblem and justification
Accordingto the survey conducted in the area, it showed that many of thepeople in the community lacked basic education. Similarly, familydisputes that result in street children, young drug addicts, prostitution, poor economic conditions, robbery and many others werenoted. In this case, the area is ideal for a church constructionbecause of the increased number of people, existing poverty, immorality and economic crisis that threatens the people’s life andcommunity development.
Howthe project will help the community
Byhaving a church in the area will enhance effective ministry, counseling, door to door visits where follow-up to the people andconduction of social analyses in the areas will be achieved toimprove the situation. The church will also offer a center where wecan be bale to provide services to HIV/AIDS victims, street children, orphans and many other disadvantaged individuals in the area.
Additionally,as per our mission, we will be able to serve many born again soulsefficiently as we found out that many people fail to come to churchbecause of lack of the building. The construction of the churchbuilding will be significant to glorify our God, providing a place ofworship and administering to our community with priority according totheir needs and desires (Anheier et al, 2014). It is our wish thatyou can also have the feeling of the same burden and have thecompassion to the perishing people in our community.
Thechurch will provide not only spiritual benefits but also the economicachievements will be attained because the Church will help those withdifficulties and general poverty by raising the economic ability ofthe poor in the area. On the other hand, people will be enabled tostart their business for own income generation. Finally, the churchwill bring social development such as eradication of immolarity, minimize street children, reduce HIV/AIDS and foster a peacefulcommunity.
