Itis interesting focusing on support groups and especially at CharityHouse. As stated, these groups bring together people from differentwalks of life. They are always brought together by a common goal, andthat is similar issues that they encounter in their daily lives.Talking about a problem and listening to other people’s views canenable an individual to have hope in life. According to Wai-Tong,Norman & Thompson (2006), it is true that the primary goal ofsupport groups is to offer emotional, educational and social supportto the members of the group.

Informationsharing is the best way to empower an individual. It is a goodobservation to note such goals from a gathering. Wai-Tong, Norman &Thompson (2006) affirms that hearing the views of different people ina discussion enables people to tackle a challenge from a differentdimension, and hence the information benefits the entire group. Animportant thing to note about the group is how members activelylisten to each other’s views before giving an individual response. From these tips, the group members will always achieve the primarygoal and that is information sharing.
